We’re seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our Atlanta team and lead our technology operations with innovation, reliability, and strategic alignment.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Actemium’s IT department and aligning technology initiatives with the company’s business goals. This role will lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, while also supporting the organization’s ongoing operational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Oversee end-user services including help desk operations and technical support.
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure: servers, networks, telecommunications, hardware, software, and mobile devices.
  • Administer user accounts and hardware lifecycles from onboarding to decommissioning.
  • Manage software licenses.
  • Maintain and upgrade virtual environments (VMWare, Hyper-V).
  • Develop and manage annual IT budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives and manage risk across systems and software.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to evaluate and implement new technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards for systems, users, and security.
  • Participate in billable project work and track associated time and resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of systems, networks, and hardware/software administration.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive
    • Antivirus and remote access tools
    • Privileged Access Management, MFA, MDM
    • Hypervisors (VMWare, Hyper-V)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards, risk management, and threat mitigation.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 and pharmaceutical environments for data management.
  • Understanding of GMP/cGMP, GAMP, and S88 standards.
  • Experience with OT platforms such as Rockwell (e.g., PlantPAx), Siemens PCS, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of IIoT and Industry 5.0 technologies.
  • Familiarity with Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full-time position, Monday–Friday, 8:00/8:30 a.m. – 5:00/5:30 p.m.
  • IT support may be required outside regular business hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of IT equipment.
  • Occasional overnight travel.
